My project for the past few evenings. Had to modify the original frame to make it fit my tractor, a bit of welding and drilling some new holes, but it fits perfectly with the quick hitch. I am ready to get to the woods and start cutting firewood now. No comments on how messy the shop is, I am fully aware of it already. LOL.

My husband would be envious of your shed, messy or not! Even though our house is only 6 kms from the city centre, when it was built 50 years ago in the cul de sac, it was grazing land. Our block is big for a city block. The first owners built a big shed up the back but when we went to replace it, it was discovered that the huge concrete slab was about 2 feet deep on the slope side and we were told it would cost a fortune to get it broken and removed, so we worked with what we had and worked around that obstacle. I don't fully get why men love sheds so much but I roll with it.

farronwolf I loved seeing all of your projects and can almost smell the wood chips! My husband worked wonders out in our garage using his father's Shop Smith circa 1950's. I gave it to my daughter's husband jokingly as her dowry. He refurbished and repainted it so the legacy lives on in his wooden creations. Wonderful skill, talent to have to be able to make what is needed or wanted. My husband would create his own blue prints for his projects and then execute them. Congratulations on being such a busy beaver, pun intended.

She got a 4x8ft island in her kitchen, and I got a 1200 sq ft shop. Of course she is still waiting on me to remodel the kitchen. That is the only room in the house I haven't done yet, but I told her it was still on my to do list, so don't give up.

I put up a giant wreath with sunflowers and put a Garland of leaves with lights under mantle.
It makes me happy to decorate. I will be adding as season progresses.
It's the little busy things that makes me happy.

I had to quit eating sunflower seeds, wife got ticked when I didn't pick them up.

The flowers are in full bloom here. So I just snipped some for a grapevine wreath. Thank you so much for the tip farronwolf . I will do this next planting season. Now I woke up to a 3 verticle piece fall decoration. And fall pillow that says "bless our family ". In fall colors. It was from my son's intended. She is the sweetest, kindest person I know. God is Good.

With fuel prices being what they are, and since I have been wanting some dual sport bikes for quite some time, this is some additional family time together. Son didn't want a dual sport, as you can see, he decided to buy himself a street only bike(one on the right). I checked the fuel economy yesterday on the Honda (red one) and it is getting between 75 and 80 mpg. So about 15 bucks should get me to and from work for about 2 weeks. Of course it doesn't have air conditioning, and Texas gets hot in the summer.

We've had an unseasonable end to autumn this May with constant rain since the beginning of the month. Today is the first sunny day and I'm planning to fill the clothes line with washed sheets, towels and mats that have been less than crisp for the last two weeks! www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUNqsfFUwhY
