Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Pray for my eldest son who is on a cycling vacation in Cuba with two buddies. Or was. Two of their bikes were stolen last Saturday, and they still have a week to go. Pray that they stay safe and have fun anyway.

Hello everyone.
Please pray for my son and his fiancé as they prepare to get married in about a month. They are both Christians who met at a Bible study. They are good kids who radiate love for one another as most engaged couples do at this point. Please pray that after they get married and encounter adversity in their relationship which they will inevitably do, that they will cling to each other and to God.
I plan on giving a quick toast at their reception in which I compare their relationship to a rope of two strands. By inviting Jesus to be the third strand in their marriage, their marriage will become the rope of three strands that is not easily broken when the tough times come. I was planning on using Ecclesiastes 4:12 as the biblical reference for this.

The bride and groom each hold a piece, and as the nuptial blessing is conferred, they place the two pieces together (they snap together) symbolizing that unless Christ is the piece that is crucial to the marriage. It's an old Croatian tradition I believe. You could devise ask your priest if her permits such. Congratulations!!!!!
