Maybe someday I will share the whole story with all of you. But for now, here's the extremely condensed version:
My husband and I have been married since 2010. I was pregnant for the first time last year, and lost the baby at 5 1/2 months gestation due to the baby (whom we named Joseph Paul) having genetic abnormalities, including placental insufficiency.
Since then, I've been seeing a fertility specialist to address my difficulty conceiving. I am Catholic and will not do IVF. I need prayers for conception and for the next baby to be healthy and make it to term. Please pray for my husband and I to have success in conceiving a healthy child.

I appreciate it, Q. I'm sorry you can relate to this type of pain. I used to work in a perinatal mental health clinic (about 10-11 years ago), so that's where I was acquainted with the pains of such a situation. (Mrs. Q recommends Saint Gerald Majella as very helpful in such circumstances.  ) |
