God our Father, Your power brings us to birth, Your providence guides our lives, and by Your command we return to dust. I pray for the dead, especially for Michael, the Uncle of jcath's wife. May those who have been dear in life find a place with You in heaven. Lord, those who die still live in Your presence; their lives change but do not end. I pray in hope for their family, relatives and friends, and for all the dead known to You alone. In company with Christ Who died and now lives may they rejoice in Your kingdom where all our tears are wiped away. Unite us together again as one family, to sing Your praise forever and ever.

Dear God, You are our Father, who cares for our every need. You are all good, all knowing, and all compassionate. You have a plan for our lives, a plan to give us a future full of hope.
Restore to health the brother-in-law of jcath according to Your Will, O God. Be his strength in this weakened medical condition and relieve him of the weariness of his body and soul. Only You can make him whole, Lord Jesus. Just as You stretched out Your hand and healed the broken, needy and sick, so I ask You to stretch forth Your mighty arm now, and heal him. Amen.
