extraordinaryform.org/WhyTheSacredMustTriumph.pdfI believe in being a fair-minded person, and considering all arguments, so I'm going to raise the objection that the Novus Ordo could be celebrated in much the same way, ad orientem, kneeling for communion on the tongue, and even with the priest speaking the Roman Canon softly (not sure if the NOM rubrics allow for whispering). That said, it might be a plan, just to read what these young men had to say, and to take it at face value. They, too, are "Church".

This paper would only be of value if they posted what the others as part of the experiment had to say.
Cherry picking the 18 that liked it to support your position doesn't convince very many people, unless they agree with you.
If they had done the same experiment and sent the same group to a NO Mass with modern praise and worship music what would their reactions be? Would 18 of them have said, now that is something that I can go along with and I can better express my love and devotion to God in this manner.

The author is very clear that not all of the youths liked the TLM. He is merely relating the comments of the 30 percent who did.

I'm not sure if the GIRM would allow the priest to say the Canon in a low voice but all the other things listed are fully permitted in the Ordinary Form.

Actually, after having gotten used to it by assisting at the Latin Novus Ordo lately, I find it kind of inspiring to hear the Roman Canon (which is the only Eucharistic prayer that our pastor uses when celebrating the Latin NOM) recited full voice. I follow along with it and am able to sharpen up my liturgical Latin even further.
