www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-65979245The blast took place in a building that housed a design school and the Catholic education system headquarters in Rue Saint-Jacques, in the fifth arrondissement of the French capital. Emergency workers are searching through the wreckage of the building, with at least two thought to be missing. According to witnesses, there was a strong smell of gas before the blast. Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To you do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears Turn then, most gracious advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us, and after this exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

Father please shield those from harm. Allow the injured to be healed by the grace and mercy of your loving hands. May peace be upon all and walk strong in your faith. In Jesus name, amen!

When I think of France, I have this image in my mind: (The mural is in Brussels but the character is French)
So, what happened to this peaceful France of old? Nowadays when France is on the news it's always jihad.

This is likely to be a gas mains explosion and not a terrorist attack. Concerns had been raised about a strong smell of gas in the area. Gas explosions can cause major carnage and death. Here's one of the most famous gas explosions in British history. www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIvD2agDBnM
