The Sound of Freedom. A wonderful film!
“God’s Children are Not For Sale”
Last night my wife and I had the opportunity to see a screening of the film “The Sound of Freedom” There has been much derogatory comment made about this movie and that prompted my wife and I to see it in order to be able to make personal judgments as opposed to relying on others who might possibly have interests in one way or another regarding its screening. I will simply say that my wife told me that she felt it was the best movie she had seen in decades, I concurred and I understand why it makes some of the “Great and the Good” nervous and has prompted various organisations and people to try and discredit it.
This a remarkably good film and I was pleased to find the cinema almost entirely full. (Indeed it is the first time I have ever experienced clapping by a British audience, who in my experience are rather more restrained in showing appreciation of an enjoyable film, on its conclusion.)
Everyone involved in this production from those who crowdfunded it to the production staff and actors deserve the highest praise.
