I continue to watch with horror as the martyred Ukrainian people suffer such terrible religious persecution at the hands of the man who is supposed to protect their rights under the Constitution of Ukraine.
According to a group of Ukrainian lawyers, of all the many Orthodox churches in the city of Kyiv, over half have already been confiscated by the Ukrainian government and given over to the OCU. Generally, after their transfer to the OCU, such churches stand empty. After the main cathedral of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was transferred to the OCU, on a great feast day, the All-Night Vigil usually attended by hundreds of people was attended by only four or five people.
