spzh.news/en/news/76144-karas-proposes-to-hang-mps-unwilling-to-vote-for-uoc-banUkrainian politician Yevhen Karas, leader of the neo-Nazi political movement "S-14", which gained notoriety for violent attacks on Romani (Gypsy) settlements, proposed to hang those Ukrainian politicians who do not vote for the banning of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. On Telegram, he asked his 55,000 subscribers to vote on what measures to take against Ukrainian parliamentarians who do not vote to ban the UOC. He proposed 1) kicking them out of parliament; 2) beating them up; 3) shooting them; 4) raping them; and 5) hanging them. 98% of his subscribers voted to hang them. The S-14 movement that Karas leads is a Ukrainian political movement designated by the US State Department as a "nationalist hate group". It has organised pogroms against Romani people on Hitler's birthday

I am reminded of Pavelic's views on the Serbian Orthodox where he expressed the view that ideally one one-third would be killed, one-third retained for slave labour and one-third converted to Catholicism.

I am reminded of Pavelic's views on the Serbian Orthodox where he expressed the view that ideally one one-third would be killed, one-third retained for slave labour and one-third converted to Catholicism. What is going on in Ukraine with the UOC is horrifying - truly, very disturbing. One of the reasons I post about it a lot here (and receive a lot of criticism for it) is because I don't understand why nobody talks about this. Even if the secular media doesn't, surely the Catholic and Christian media should be publishing daily articles about the terrible things happening in Ukraine, but we see nothing. I was disgusted when my brother Catholics in Ukraine attacked an Orthodox cross procession last month in Ternopil Oblast. How could Catholics act in such a way unless they were living in the Independent State of Croatia circa 1943? I am honestly very worried about how the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church seems basically to be all-in on this evil persecution. You may be aware guvnor that the UOC in the western Catholic regions of Ukraine has been practically totally liquidated over the past year. In the eastern and southern regions of Ukraine, even those controlled by the Ukrainian government, the repressions seem not so bad - in Odessa, the UOC still has a lot of support even in the government. But in central and western Ukraine the story is completely different. We are witnessing before us the worst persecution of Christians in Europe in many decades.
