Over the last ten years, the Church in Poland has lost 6.6 million Catholics per the latest census. That's 660 thousand a year, and probably more, since the rate is increasing.
Among the young, the lost has been especially devastating. A recent poll showed that only 9 percent of young Poles have a positive view of the Church. The main reasons are the Church's embrace of the far-right ruling party and far-right organizations, its ultra-aggressive anti-LGBT campaign, and its opposition to abortion and reproductive health care, corruption, as well as sexual and financial scandals too numerous to count. notesfrompoland.com/2020/11/16/only-9-of-young-people-in-poland-view-catholic-church-positively-finds-poll/
