The clown Zelensky, who revealed himself an evil man who fights God and Church, was someone I credited with some intelligence.
Evidently, he lacks that as well. Because anybody, regardless of whether it right or wrong, who tries to ban an entire religion that 25% of the country belongs to, in a time of war, is stupid. The best way to lose a war is to sow division within the nation during the war. For Putin, Russians, and many Orthodox Christians, the persecution and probable banning of the UOC seems to vindicate the invasion more than anything else. It will be your fault, Volodymyr Oleksandrovich, if Ukraine loses the war.
Threats were issued against People's Deputies who refused to vote for the ban. One deputy warned that any deputy who did not vote in favour would be ostracised in every Ukrainian town and village. This disgusting calamity has no place in 21st century European state. Somebody tell me why we hear nothing from the West about this?
In the 20th century, our Catholic Church was brutally persecuted in Soviet Ukraine. The Orthodox said nothing, and at times even supported it. Now, the situation is reversed. I say again: the authorities of the Catholic Church in Ukraine must speak out against this, otherwise the Catholic Church will be next, and moreover, our Church's moral authority will be lost. Pope Francis has spoken against this persecution. His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, Major-Archbishop of Kyiv, must do the same.

I think he promotes U.S.-style neoliberalism, which includes secularism.
