Eh, I don't need a lightning bolt to tell me that the Pope is old and visibly ailing, and might not last long.
I have a feeling he might not make it back to Argentina before he passes.

Yes, but nobody ignores a strategically-placed lightning bolt. I'd halfway look for Team Francis ( Where Peter Is et al) to claim either that this is fake news, or that enemies of this Pope vandalized the statue themselves, and just claimed it was struck by lightning. This is getting really bad. More and more people, even those who are otherwise accepting of the modern Church, are losing their docility and willingness to accept "discernment", with this whole Fiducia supplicans thing.. What in the world is Rome going to do?
