Hello all! Many times one apologetic for canon of scripture being developed in the 4th-5th centuries is to point to the early non-eccuminical council documents of Rome, Hippo and Carthage. Can someone point me to the documents of these synods that particularly address the canon of scripture? If the church uses this as an apologetic i assume the documents are available, right?
Thank you!

This Wikipedia article includes an English translation of the relevant paragraphs. Somebody once posted at CAF the original Latin text, but I can't find it now. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Council_of_Rome
