I was really privileged to have a solid foundation at an Adventist Primary school in a coastal town in South Africa.
I was taught creationism in school, the New Testament, and healthy living. We went to a church to give plays to make the old people happy.
We don't have the same ethos regarding the sacraments, but that is really not an issue, because the school is open to all even non-Christians.
I really regret taking the STEM education system at a private high school where the kids didn't even wear uniforms.

ernesto, it doesn't say in your profile but are you of the Adventist faith? You are very welcome here regardless, but I had assumed you were Catholic.

I am Catholic. There weren't many private schools in the area, so it was the only choice and a good choice.
My parents didn't want me to get bullied in a public school.
I also had Catholic friends.

My kids all went to Catholic school one still attending HS.
My daughter would not be bullied because she has a look and a mouth to defend...Girls are verbal. She's more verbal and has so many upper grade friends.
She knows she's there to learn about God and prayers.
She made friends through kindness. If not returned, hmmmmm. She ignores.

The Good Sisters made us kneel on the floor, and measured from shoulder to floor. No patent leather shoes. Now, I'm taking up my 4 foot 9 daughters skirt up. It's mid calf. Ugh.
If I sent her to school like that, I wonder how long it would take her to be beaten up...(just kidding) she's a Sophomore in HS.so she was wears a skirt from last year, that has been tailored.
