I came across the website article, the Art of Manliness, and it seems useful for both boys and girls, but obviously it's special to boys.
I see nothing anti-Catholic about it. I do self-cencor when something irritates me, I just click away, but seriously I think in today's modern world it's worth a read.

I do self-cencor when something irritates me, I just click away, but seriously I think in today's modern world it's worth a read. I've read it before on occasion, looks good to me. There is very little in our society that encourages a man to be a man, and a site such as this, is a good antidote to that.
The only thing that would give me pause, and I don't recall ever having seen such content on it, is if they ever gave any advice contrary to the Church's teachings on remaining celibate and continent until marriage. I only say this, because many men-oriented sites give dating and relationship advice that is not consonant with Catholic teaching (nor with the requirements of the Gospel, chastity isn't only a Catholic virtue).
Along the same lines, I got for my son a few years ago The Dangerous Book for Boys. It's great fun and I enjoy reading it myself.

Eh? What brought that on?
I would never choose a small town over living in a city, and I've lived in both, small town, big city (all right, suburbs), and now, smallish city within a larger metropolitan area, the kind of city that, if you use your imagination, looks like midtown Manhattan for a few blocks... and then... green, pleasant suburban life. I know everyone will have their own opinion on this, but small towns can be horrifying heat sinks and fever swamps of ill will, depending on the town and the unique circumstances of each. Some of them are just plain toxic. I like living in a place that is just big enough, that everyone is pretty much concerned with their own life and the welfare of their family, has neither time nor inclination to micro-manage and dissect other people's lives, and is willing to "live and let live". Now that the small city where I live has the TLM within reasonable driving distance, I have everything I need, to live a complete life. (But the traffic is getting pretty bad, too many cars and not enough roads to accommodate them. Being retired makes that of minimal annoyance.)

I purchased a maglet for teen girls. How to be modest, and how to be cheerful givers.
How to save oneself for the sacrament of marriage. To associate with boys with the same outlook.
How not to be engaged of things of masculine nature ie sowing fields etc. But how to be a Catholic woman in the world today.
