So, Benito Mussolini said:
He said, "Fascism is a Religious concept". His Doctrine of Fascism says "the life of a Fascist is religious and austere".
The life of all Saints is also religious and austere. His Doctrine says, "The Fascist disdains an easy life". Many if not all canonized Saints disdained an easy life.
Even if they on rare occasions didn't disdain an easy life, they certainly all without exception were people of great suffering who chose a very difficult life and renounced an easy life.
The Doctrine of Fascism is the intrinsic nature and essence of Fascism and Fascism is a very Roman Catholic friendly, if not the very form of government that the Church has always recognized under a different name.
The Catholic Church never recognized Democracy until very recently in history. For countless centuries the Catholic Pope crowned Kings and Emperors to rule absolute Monarchy's and total Theocracies. They were not called Fascist Dictatorships, but if America was to live like the Catholic Kings and Emperors that the Popes crowned, (and virtually every Catholic government on earth for centuries), everyone who has a clue about what Fascism is would agree that America was a moderate to extreme Fascist state.
There is nothing racist about Fascism. Although Fascists chose to be racist, that doesn't make Fascism racist anymore than contraception is a Catholic practice (because most Catholics contracept doesn't mean contraception is a Catholic thing.)
"The Doctrine of Fascism" is the complete and inerrant definition of what Fascism is. Fascism is an ultra religious, extremely conservative, nationalistic, patriotic, right wing, deeply Spiritual form of government where it is believed that the state is an Independent sentient being with a mind , heart, and will of her own, and there is a covenant between the people and the state.
Fascism is a Religious response to the Communists and Bolshiveks , and Fascism is the friend of all faiths, but especially do Fascists have a responsibility to defend Roman Catholicism. In fact, there is nothing violent about Fascism other than the call to defend God as Bolshiveks, Communists, and atheists seek to efface God from the hearts of mankind.
In Fascist Italy , contraception was frowned upon by Dictator Benito Mussolini, abortion was outlawed, the government paid women to have large families, Mussolini expressed his dissaproval of divorce ( and divorce was rare), Mussolini bought prayer and crucifixes back to public schools, Mussolini created what is today Independent Vatican City state, night clubs and places of immorality were closed down, and Pope Pius XI called Mussolini "the man of providence.
I'm sorry, but I fail to see how Fascism conflicts with Catholicism. Fascism appears to be best buddies with Catholicism because Fascism puts the state and the Church in the same bed and enforces what the Church teaches.
Fascism would almost be a requirement now in America to outlaw abortion, pornography, immorality in the entertainment industry, and bring prayer back to public shools.
Fascism was a response to what our Lady of Fatima called "The errors of Russia shall spread throughout the world".
How interesting that our Lady of Fatima spoke about Communism and asked for the consecration of Russia to her Immaculate heart, but not once did she say anything negative about Fascism. Could it be that Fascism doesn't bother her?
The Capitol of Fascism where Mussolini had his fascist headquarters was Rome, the Capitol of Roman Catholicism. The largest apostolate I know of in the Catholic Church is the Knights of Columbus, and their symbol is the "Fasces" (the symbol of the Fascist party).
It sounds to me like Fascism is the most compatible form of government with Catholicism on earth. Please offer correction if you have any. Thank you!
