I fear that you are stuck in a problematic rigidity. The Church is a living organism and Christ raises up prophets and teachers in every age to keep the Truth alive. Your wording is off and a sign of rigidity that kills. Do you believe “Roman Catholic Dogma,” without any innovation, is too rigid? I "believe" I met you before, on "CAF".

hmmm. I can see by your user name you are a troll. I am Not a troll: My user name is Catholic; there is nothing bad about my user name. Not a troll? OK, two other choices: Sea lion or deceiver.
Which?

Thanks, you answered my question very well. No problem. Glad I could be of help. God Bless. Hey! How about an avatar? Without it, your posts just show the Sea Lion Egghead pic. If I can do it anyone can do it.

The Council was an event. Every Catholic is bound by it. Roman Catholicism is a religion, with just as many opinions as it has people within her church.

When I see it appear with your posts, I have a sharp pang of something blasphemous.

If the sign on the church and Bulletin says Catholic...there is your first clue.
People have different worship styles. Some go to the current mass and some go to a Traditional mass. Jesus is not rigid. He is pure love. Why do you think he's rigid?

The Second Ecumenical Council at the Vatican was an ecumenical council of the Catholic Church. It was called by St. John XXIII. It was continued by St. Paul VI. Its was attended by the majority of the Church's bishops. It was implementd by St. Paul VI, St. John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI. It continues to be applied under our current Holy Father. Therefore, your question is nonsensical. It seems to me this Forum is faithful to the Church's Magisterium. Therefore, questions which have overtones of schism and sedevacantism are not going to be welcome here.
