What exactly, is you question... Is “Vatican 2” “Roman Catholicism?”; Is “Vatican II” “Roman Catholic?”

hmmm. I can see by your user name you are a troll. I am Not a troll: My user name is Catholic; there is nothing bad about my user name. Sounds blasphemous to me. Just after Pope St John Paul II's election he took time to affirm the Council and strive for it's goals as highest importance. "We consider our primary duty to be that of promoting, with prudent but encouraging action, the most exact fulfilment of the norms and directives of the Council. Above all we must favour the development of conciliar attitudes. First one must be in harmony with the Council. One must put into effect what was stated in its documents; and what was 'implicit' should be made explicit in the light of the experiments that followed and in the light of new and emerging circumstances" (17 October 1978) Seven years after that he also explained this... "For me the Second Vatican Council has always been—in a particular fashion during these years of my pontificate—the constant reference point of every pastoral action, with conscious commitment to translate its directives into concrete, faithful action, at the level of every Church and of the whole Church" (25 January 1985) So yes of course there is no doubt that the Vatican II Council is a gift of the Holy Spirit and the impetus for the Saints it has made so far.

Vatican II is indeed Catholic. Put into place by not just one but 2 Saints of the Catholic Church. What's your real agenda? You sound like you just want to stir the pot.

Do you believe Vatican II is indeed Roman Catholic?

Of course I do. I work for the Church. I'm the Moderator of a Catholic forum. What credentials do you need, or is this just an attack on our faith?

I don't see how anyone would think asking a simple question about Catholicism could be an attack on the faith.

Vatican II is a holy and ecumenical council of the universal Catholic Church. Is there something specific about the council you wanted to ask?

Ok Rigid, are you actually Seraphim of recent deletion? Aww he deleted his account? He was the one who referred me here. He goes to my parish. I'll have to ask him about it on Sunday. That's too bad.
